When it comes to an endorsement for a development, there is nothing better than the site manager who has built the properties. This is just the case for Jason Regis, who has moved into Red Door Ventures private rented development (PRS), Nelson Street Cottages, in East Ham, E6.
Jason, 45 comments, “I was born in Bow and have lived in East London all my life. My partner, Caroline and I were living in a rented apartment in Bethnal Green with our two children, Holly-Anne and Cameron, when I started working as site manager at Nelson Street Cottages. The site was really interesting because it involved the conversion of the old cottages that firefighters once used so the development has some real heritage attached to it and each apartments’ layout was unique.
“The more time I spent working on the site, the more I really liked the area and started chatting to Caroline about the potential of relocating to East Ham. I was really impressed with the quality of the apartments and the specification; In fact, I was really proud to be part of the development. We decided to take the children to look around the development one weekend and they really loved it.”
Jason and Caroline put their name down for one of the apartments and were successful in securing one.
Jason continues, “The whole process was really straight forward and we really liked the fact that Red Door Ventures were offering five year tenancies. We decided to go for one because it allows us to have more security and feel settled in the area in which we live and establish a firm base for the children. We also don’t have to worry about moving schools again, should the landlord wish to sell the property after a year or two.
“The location of Nelson Street Cottages is brilliant, with A12, A13 and A406 all close by and East Ham tube station within walking distance.
“PRS has allowed us to have the comfort that we are renting a high quality, brand new product from a professional landlord and management company. This really appealed to us. We are very settled here and love the vibe at the development, having already made some great friendships with our new neighbours.”
