2017 has been a busy year for Red Door Ventures with the launch of Gregory House in Plaistow and more recently its first development outside London Borough of Newham at Cheviot House in Whitechapel. The company has also just relocated its offices to Stratford High Street, E15 to accommodate its growing business.
Kent Taylor, Chief Executive of Red Door Ventures comments, “2017 has been an exciting year for Red Door Ventures with the launch of our third PRS development and latterly the acquisition of Cheviot House. We have also appointed a number of key players to our team which has resulted in the need to move to larger offices.”
The acquisition of Cheviot House in Whitechapel has increased the company’s rental portfolio significantly to 156 homes. The development features 97 modern studio apartments for private rent, with high quality fixtures, oak wood flooring, fitted kitchens with appliances and designer bathroom suites. Already over 70% of the apartments have been let.
Kent concludes, “2018 will be an extremely significant year for the company with work starting on site on a number of our larger schemes and we expect to have over 1,000 homes either occupied or under construction by the end of the year. We will also continue our planned strategy to look outside of the borough for other opportunities in Greater London. Our vision is to provide high quality homes for private rent with additional services and facilities to deliver an exceptional living experience for all our residents."
